Microwave Assisted reduction of Aromatic Nitro Compounds with Ammonium Chloride and Zinc dust

Abstract

A fast, easy and rapid environmentally friendly method for the reduction of aromatic
nitro compounds to their corresponding amines in good yield and short time is developed
by using microwave irradiation, in the presence of zinc dust ammonium chloride and
solvent free condition.
